ATUFS (formerly TUFS) provides credit-linked capital subsidy for technology upgradation in the textile and jute sector. Launched in 1999 as TUFS and restructured as ATUFS in 2015, it offers a 15% capital subsidy (25% for garmenting and technical textiles) on loans for purchase of specified machinery.
