Request Soil Testing

Contact block agriculture officer or ATMA office to request soil sample collection.

Sample Collection

Agriculture officer collects soil sample from your field (0–20 cm depth).

Testing at Lab

Sample sent to Soil Testing Laboratory. Analysis for 12 parameters done.

Receive Card

Soil Health Card with results and fertiliser recommendation sent via post or SMS link within 30 days.

How do I get a Soil Health Card?

Contact your local Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) or Agriculture Department office. Soil samples from your farm are tested at government labs and a card with fertiliser recommendations is issued free of cost.

How often is the Soil Health Card updated?

The Soil Health Card is issued once every 2 years. Retesting is done to track changes in soil nutrient status.
