Launched in 2013-14, RGPSA was a capacity building and strengthening scheme for Panchayati Raj Institutions to enable effective functioning, improved service delivery, and accountability. It funded construction of gram panchayat buildings, e-governance infrastructure, training of elected representatives, and strengthening of state Panchayati Raj departments. RGPSA was merged into the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) in 2018.
