PMMVY is a maternity benefit programme providing ₹5,000 in cash incentives to pregnant and lactating women for their first live birth. The scheme compensates for wage loss during pregnancy and encourages institutional delivery, adequate nutrition, and early childhood care.

🎁Key Benefits

• ₹5,000 in three installments for the first live birth
• First installment: ₹1,000 on early registration of pregnancy
• Second installment: ₹2,000 after six months of pregnancy and one ANC checkup
• Third installment: ₹2,000 after child birth registration and first round of BCG/OPV/DPT/Hepatitis-B
• Under 2.0 (2022), second child (girl) also gets ₹6,000 in two installments
