PMAGY aims to develop model tribal villages (Adi Adarsh Grams) with significant ST populations by providing infrastructure including roads, drinking water, education, health, and livelihood facilities. Under the scheme, 36,428 tribal villages are to be developed in a mission mode by 2025-26.
