Mizoram's flagship development programme under which each beneficiary family is allotted land with a comprehensive development package covering horticulture, animal husbandry, forestry, or sericulture components. NLUP aims to transform jhum (shifting) cultivation to settled farming and provide sustainable livelihoods.

• Land allotment or land development support to each beneficiary family
• Financial assistance ₹1 lakh per family for chosen livelihood component
• Inputs, seedlings, livestock, and tools as per component selected
• Technical support and extension services
• Cover for 8 livelihood components: piggery, poultry, horticulture, etc.
