Check Official WebsiteLaunched on 3 December 2005, JNNURM was India's largest urban infrastructure investment programme, mobilising ₹1.2 lakh crore over 2005-2012 for 65 mission cities. It had two sub-missions: Urban Infrastructure and Governance (UIG) for basic infrastructure, and Basic Services to Urban Poor (BSUP) for affordable housing. JNNURM was succeeded by the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and Smart Cities Mission in 2015.
