एकीकृत बंजर भूमि विकास परियोजना
Ministry of Rural Development
Launched in 1989 under the National Wasteland Development Board, the IWDP aimed at developing wastelands and degraded lands through community participation using watershed-based approach. It funded soil and moisture conservation, afforestation, and horticulture in rural wastelands not covered under DPAP or DDP. Like its counterparts, IWDP was integrated into the Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) in 2009.
