UGC NET determines eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. Conducted twice a year in 83+ subjects.

✅Eligibility

Qualification: Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD)

• For JRF: maximum age 30 years (35 for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/female)
• For Assistant Professor only: no upper age limit
• Final-year PG students can apply provisionally
